The Miss Puerto Rico of Osceola Pageant is designed to build cultural awareness, values and the self-esteem of young Puerto Rican women in the community between the ages of 18-25. This is not a beauty pageant but a cultural pageant where young ladies of Puerto Rican heritage, can celebrate their roots and culture while learning poise, elegance and sportsmanship.

As a community driven organization, we work to encourage each young lady to be the best that she can be, express her individuality and blossom to her fullest potential. Extreme focus is placed on responsibility, building confidence and developing leadership skills which are all important characteristics for a successful future. As a part of the process, each young lady works for over five months in various workshops, research, rehearsals and community activities.

We take pride in our commitment to make a difference in the community and
strive to be a continuous light along their pathway.

REQUIREMENTS - REQUISITOS

1- Work or go to school
2- Between the ages of 18 to 25
3- One parent must be Puerto Rican
4- Talk, write and read Spanish
5- Must be single without children
6- Must be able to pay an initial fee of $100 to participate
7- To be able to sell advertisements for sponsorship
8- To sell at least 10 entrance tickets
9- To be able to participate in the rehearsals
10- Must be able to buy all the necessary items in order to participate

1- Trabajar o ser estudiante
2- Dentro de las edades de 18 a 25 años
3- Uno de los padres debe ser Puertorriqueno
4- Hablar, escribir y leer espanol
5- Ser soltera, sin hijos
6- Estar dispuerta a pagar $100 para participar en el certamen
7- Vender anuncios a sus auspiciador
8- Vender por lo menos 10 entradas
9- Estar dispuesta a participar a los ensayos
10- Poder comprarse lo necesario para participar
